Dojo Growth:
It really is hard to believe that it has been a year since we moved the dojo to our current location. Since that time, we have seen continued growth. This is a testament to the character of our members. I have said many times that it is not my dojo, it is our club and every member plays a very critical role in the growth and the success of our school. I would like to thank all of our students and all of the family members for their continued support.
It has been very rewarding to see our students mature as karateka over the past year. Several times I am amazed at the questions that are posed to our by our students. This is a very good indication of growth and awareness. Rank Test: We should be conducting a rank test in the next 4-5wks. We have not set a firm date at this time, but I would encourage all of our students to make the commitment to study their test material diligently so that they will be prepared for examination. This will require practice and review of the test materials at home as well as at the dojo.
Spring Training Session: As the weather continues to warm up, we will be planning a Saturday training session / open house. It will be open to the public. This is in the planning stage at this point, so if you have any suggestions, please pass them along to one of our instructors. I would like to have a ladies / children’s self-defense session for non-members. Please be thinking of friends or relatives that you would like to invite.
